No one wants sticky eyebrows, do they?

Hey bloggers.

So many moons ago I trained to be a beauty therapist and I have a NVQ2/3 qualification but I never went into beauty therapy has an actual job. I ended up going back to A levels and did something really irrelevant at university instead.

But the one thing I loved doing when I was training in beauty was eyebrow waxing. Now most people in my class hated eyebrow waxing because it was a pain setting up the wax equipment for such a small job.

I loved doing it because eyebrows make up such a huge part of the face. Change them slightly and you can make your whole face look completely different.

So when I saw the Nair ultra precision roll on in Boots. I couldn't wait to try it as for the last few years I have been plucking my eyebrows instead of waxing.

So I left my eyebrows to grow a bit wild and decided to try it out. (Sorry for the dodgy picture)
All you did with the nair was place the wax in warm water for three minutes, then place on the eyebrows and wax off.

Should have been great.

But sadly I was very disappointed with the nair wax kit.
It was so easy to use though. I loved the roller ball action but it just didn't grab any of the hairs.
It did sometimes rip a couple of hairs out but not all. So I ended up looking like the picture above. The same but slightly more sticky. Luckily the Nair wax was water soluble and did wash off really easily. One plus.

Now I hope it was just because the wax wasn't hot enough why the Nair just didn't work but it was just a bit disappointing especially after not waxing my eyebrows for so long. I was looking forward to giving my tweezers a rest.

Sadly this was not to be.

I'm not sure if I will use the Nair again. One day I might give it a second chance but it won't be for a good while yet.
The good thing was that the Nair wax was on offer in Boots for £2.99 so I didn't waste too much money.
