When did shaving become such a chore?

Hello Bloggers.
Hope you are having a lovely day.

A conversation today inspired this blog post.
Whilst at work I was talking to my colleague about shaving.

(Now people will say that waxing and the other million hair removal options are better but we all know shaving is quicker, easier, pain-free (Unless you cut yourself *Ouchies) and above all cheaper but back to my point)

Firstly we were talking about men shaving there body hair and how she prefers men to leave it free and through this we got to the point about shaving our own legs and how she didn't shave her legs as often as she should.

Now I can't remember the last time I shaved my legs.
From the looks of it, its about three weeks.
Now I know I'm single and technically it's only just turned Spring, so my legs aren't on show.
But I'm in the bath every night and my new excuse as been.
My razor isn't in the bathroom.
That's true.
It's not.

Yet I have about 15 disposables that are less then eight feet from the bathroom and in that time I haven't touched my legs. Yet I have plucked my eyebrows and shaved my armpits most nights.(Using the old school old blade in the bathroom)

But I think I have worked out why it seems such a chore.
The time (And has you gathered the fact I'm quite lazy)

If you do it quickly you risk cutting yourself and missing patches of leg hair.
Do it slowly but more efficiently and you have missed most of the day.
(I can be in the bath a good twenty minutes just shaving)

So how can you be quick and efficient.
Simple.

You need a good shaving cream.

My two to recommend is the old school Gillette satin care shaving gel.
Now they say foaming gels dry out your skin but this one doesn't.
Plus because it foams you actually can see where your razor has been so you don't miss anywhere.
Result.
And it comes in loads of different flavours and for all different skin types.

If your looking for a shaving that doesn't foam but helps with shaving then meet Ambrosia.
Ambrosia is fantastic for people who have really sensitive skin.
A little bit of this goes a long way. (Too much and you clog your razor up and that's very time consuming)
It has a slight smell but not overly girly.
Contains oat milk and honey, which leaves your skin so soft and moisturized so you can save time because don't need any body lotion on your legs.

So shaving a chore, well not anymore.
Now my legs are so soft and smooth, I even may whip out the shorts.
*Maybe*
