Envious eyes. Well you will have.

Hello bloggers
Hope you have had a good evening.

Emerald green and jade green have hit a new stride this spring/summer.
Not just in clothes case in point Jamie Winstone
but in make up too.
However the green is multi layered giving a 3D effect.

Look magazine showcase perfectly how to achieve the look at home.
I also decided to give it a go.
Luckily I have a lot of urban decay products at home but I didn't have the exact colours so I just experimented till I got it right.

I like to think I didn't do too badly and I must admit I love this look, it's edgy (Very Jessie J style) but it's extremely wearable.
I used urban decay eyeshadow in Haight for the base, Loaded for the dark green on the outer corners and Flipside for the 3D middle effect.

This is how it looks finished.
I'm going out on Saturday.
So I will be definitely doing this look again.

With this look though you need to keep the lips simple and you can't make your cheekbones to pink or red because it can clash with the harshness of the green.
All you need for your cheekbones is some highlighter really.

On Saturday I will show you a picture of me fully done up.
Hopefully you will give it a go too.
Pictures welcome.

Eye don't believe it.

Hello bloggers
Hope you having a good week.
The latest trend in eyeshadow is colour clashing but...
only two colours stick out as being a must have spring and a summer trend this year.
That is Purple/lilac and yellow/mustard

Worn together they make a great team. You can have more of a wash for the daytime and go extremely vibrant for the night.

I created this look using
Topshop eyeshadow in english teacher for the base of yellow
Then on top of this applying a more gold tone of maui wowie from the urban decay box of shadows.
For the purple I used psychedelic sister again from the urban decay shadows box.

This is the look without eyeliner or mascara.

The night time look is finished off with urban decay 24/7 eyeliner in zero and lashings of mascara. I used Avon's supershock because it really gives volume to eyelashes. This is because of the huge lash brush and it's a bargain too :)

This look is one of my favourites eyeshadow wise for a while and it makes my eyes really pop.
Purple is also a good eyeshadow colour for any eye colour, has it emphasizes and doesn't clash with blues, greens or browns. Basically it's a winner all around.
